Not to be mistaken for the Gateway Stop and Railway Station due to open in December 2016 between Gyle Centre and Gogarburn.
The International Business Gateway is a pending proposal (Feb 2015) at Gogar using the ground between the Depot and the link road to the Airport. Gogarburn and Airport incorporating Ingliston P & R on the above diagram.
With a multi use area of homes, and commercial premises, a Tram Stop is envisaged between Gogar and Ingliston P & R.
The tram platform foundations are already in place for use when the area is developed.
Below is an advertisement board beside Ingliston P & R platform as seen in July 2016.
The site now has an Application for Planning Permission in Principle subject to consideration by the City of Edinburgh Council which is due to be determined in Autumn 2016.
As seen in the advertisement Murray Estates is seeking interest to purchase its proposed 23 acre mixed use development site. It is envisaged that Edinburgh International Business Gateway will deliver 384,874 sq ft of office space, 525 hotel rooms and 200 residential units.
